A Day of Centering Prayer

Service Description

On the morning of Saturday, June 1, Contemplative Outreach of Portland will offer a Day of Centering Prayer in Community. The event is hosted by the Franciscan Spiritual Center. The morning format includes three periods: a Centering Prayer, Welcoming Prayer, and Forgiveness Prayer. The doors open at 9am, the program begins at 9:30, and ends by 12:30pm. For all of you with an existing contemplative practice, this is an opportunity to meet with others and benefit from the expertise of Contemplative Outreach-trained and commissioned facilitators. The Franciscan Center is located on the grounds of the former Marylhurst University. This event will be held in Willow, our meeting room located in Clark Commons and located at 3162 Furman Drive, Marylhurst, Oregon 97036. The grounds of the campus are a beautiful place to walk before and after the event. Bring a friend and join us. Our primary facilitator will be Vicki Hess-Smith. Saturday, June 1, 9:30- 12:30.
