Growing Into Your Mystical Potential

Service Description

Mark Lesniewski will facilitate contemplative experiences using Mirabai Starr’s newest book and selected works of Caroline Myss. The group will meet on the final Saturdays of January, February, and March from 10am until 1pm. You may join just the Saturday group series ($75) or you may add an optional series of three one-on-one spiritual direction sessions with Mark to further process your own integration and responses to the learnings (additional $180 for the series of three sessions). With guidance from Mirabai Starr’s “Ordinary Mysticism: Your Life as Sacred Ground” and Caroline Myss’s work on archetypes, we will engage in practices designed to move us from reading books about mystics and mysticism to realizing and embodying our birthright to BE mystics in the world. Our purpose in gathering is to be encouraged, to encourage others, and to grow into the unique mystics we are conceived to be. Our additional goal is to be challenged and to have fun. Over three months we will digest the following topics: Saturday, January 25, Module One: “Reading and Spacing Out Is Fundamental.” Examining your relationship with reading. Saturday, February 22, Module Two: “Altering Altars, Releasing Sacred Cows.” Examining your relationship with rituals and commandments. Saturday, March 29, Module Three: “The Archetypes That Influence Your Mysticism.” Getting to know your guides. Begins January 25, 2025. Franciscan Spiritual Center 3159 Furman Drive, Marylhurst, OR Mark Lesniewski will facilitate. Cost $75 for Saturday gatherings alone. This will be an in-person gathering at the Franciscan Spiritual Center on Saturday mornings, from 10am to 1pm in the Willow Room, January 25, February 22, March 29.) Cost $255 for Saturday gatherings plus three individual spiritual direction sessions with Mark.
