Mystics in the Wild: Walking Meditation

Service Description

Take your spiritual contemplation outside this summer! Join Mark Lesniewski as he facilitates meditation while moving. This group will meet at the Franciscan Spiritual Center and then head out for a walk on the campus grounds of Marylhurst. While brief stops will be made, expect to be moving for 1.5 hrs. This walk will stick to paved paths and sidewalks, and is accessible for those using mobility devices such as rollators or walking sticks. Join us as we create community, savor the natural splendor of the Pacific Northwest, and practice praying with our bodies, hearts, and neighbors. Minimum 5 and Maximum 10 participants. Subject to weather conditions. We will notify you three days in advance if we need to cancel.
