Our Program
Our two year program is a discernment and formation process for persons wishing to become Franciscan spiritual directors.
Program Overview
Two-year program.
Two nine month training years, Feb – Oct.
Online format.
Fully virtual or hybrid options.
Individual learning.
Asynchronous online study, reflection, and integration between gatherings.
Group learning.
Group meetings focus on integration, application, and reflection in community.
Conveners and guides.
Experienced directors teach, supervise,
and mentor.
Franciscan Core
The training program was developed by Franciscan sisters.
Franciscan discernment, formation, and foundational perspective.
Engagement with and exposure to other traditions is modeled and practiced.
Pricing & Application Process
Tuition: Tiered pricing options
based on financial ability.
Tier A Pricing: $4,500/year ($9,000 full tuition)
Tier B Pricing: $3,000/year ($6,000 full tuition)
Tier C Pricing: $1,500/year ($3,000 full tuition)

Additional costs:
Assigned books.
Travel and overnight housing, optional.
Own spiritual direction practice.
(Student rates through the Franciscan Center available, though you are free to arrange your own director relationship.)
Application process includes:
written application,
$35 application fee,
a spiritual autobiography,
three references (please use the form below),
interview with faculty.
Applications reviewed on a rolling basis.
